Steps to make to make Chicken potli biryani

  1. Take all the ingredients of potli and crush it,and pack in the muslin cloth and tie the knot.
  2. Heat one liter water in a pan.
  3. Add spices of potli and 2 - 3 green chilli and cook till change the colour of water and it reduced to 3/4.
  4. When water reduced to 3/4 and change the colour of water,turn off the flame and remove the potli and keep aside
  5. Heat oil in the pan and fry the sliced onion until golden and crispy
    Keep aside.
  6. Heat oil in the same pan,add whole garam masala to crackle,add ginger garlic paste abd saute for 2 - 3 mins
  7. Now add chicken pieces and fry in a slow flame
  8. Add salt,soaked rice and potli water
  9. Transfer in the rice cooker and cook for ten mins.
  10. Add kewra water,saffron add in the hot milk and mix in the rice and also add some fried onion
  11. Heat oil in a pan and fry the green chilli and strain it
  12. Garnish with fried onion and green chilli
  13. Serve hot with raita.
