Instructions to make to make Marayoor Chicken

  1. In a pan add 2 tb spoon oil, chicken,coriander powder, pepper powder, garam masala, turmeric powder,salt and shallots (without cut). Sautee for 5 minutes.(According to your taste add ingredients)
  2. Then add 750 ml of second batch of coconut milk, boil for 20 minutes in medium flame, keep stiring in between.
  3. Then add 250 ml of first batch of coconut milk and boil for 2 minutes. Turn off the stove.
  4. For tempering: Take a another pan, add 2 tb spoon of oil, mustard, sliced coconut. Sautee until coconut turns to brown color, then add 10 dry chillies, curry leaves, Sautee for 1 minute. Turn off the flame then add 2 tb spoon of Kashmiri chilli powder and 2 tb spoon chilli powder, then Sautee for 1 minute.
  5. Add tempering to chicken, mix well and serve with rice or chapathi.
